Europe Becoming Reality in the Tricountry Corner on the Neisse
The Neisse Film Festival has taken place each May since 2004. With over 20 screening sites along the Neisse River in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany, this festival is one-of-a-kind. This is especially visible in its trinational competitions with current feature films, documentaries and short films. The festival program also offers several other film series as well as concerts, readings, exhibitions and parties. The Focus series of films and events places a spotlight each year on a new politically and socially relevant topic which deserves special cinematic treatment in each of the three countries. In 2025 the series is focusing on "CROSSING", dedicated to the very current and very diverse discussion of Border(s) and tracing its German and Eastern European memories.
